Segun Olawoye a graduating student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has been arrested and beaten by the Police shortly after his convocation ceremony today, January 24, 2017.
According to Sahara Reporters owner, Omoyele Sowore, Olawoye is also a Citizen reporter with Sahara Reporters.
The student was reportedly stripped and beaten alongside his cameraman.
UNILAG student activist, Olorunfemi Adeyeye was also arrested and detained for reasons yet unknown as at the time of filing this report.
