Davido has vowed to serve God for the rest of his life after giving an impromptu testimony at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David.
The singer who doesn’t often go to church said that he woke up today and something touched his soul to thank God for his life so far.
“Happy Sunday peeps!! Come and see the Lord is good!! I vow to serve you for the rest of my life! Everlasting Father!! 2017 WILL BE GREAT FOR US ALL!!,” he wrote on his Instagram.
It all started moments ago when Dano milk publicized the famous “Naija Rich man garri” on their official Twitter account, not that nothing was wrong with that, but their text was what caused the whole wahala.
Dano milk wrote “Garium Sulphide“, instead of the usual garri and peak milk was not having any of the “forming“, so they came for them… See below and have yourself a good laugh:
Valentine’s Day is only a few days away and, of course, the girls can’t wait to see what gifts they’ll get – roses, chocolate, cakes, lingerie, jewelry, cars, etc.
Some have even dreamt of how their man would propose and what photo angles of the engagement ring look best on Instagram.
But you see Valentine’s Day wasn’t only made for women. Saint Valentine did not die for women to use February 14 as a day to get gifts and give back nothing. So for those ladies who’ve made it a habit to only receive but never ever give back, this is for you. You need to change. However, don’t go buying your lover, boyfriend, fiancé or husband cheap boxers and singlets. Have some class, please.
In the spirit of love, Campari shared these simple sweet gift ideas with us, so you can relax and make an easy choice for your man.
1 – Watches Statement watches always make men look classy.
2 – Shoes What do you want people to think when your man walks into the room? Also, don’t forget comfort is important.
3 – Coloured Socks Get some really good patterned socks with those shoes.
4 – Ties Sprinkle some Justin Timberlake and JayZ on your man.
5 – Perfumes Pick a scent you’ll never want him to wash off.
6 – Video games His friends will love you for this. No doubt.
7 – Underwear There’s some excitement that comes with owning brand new premium underwear. Even men know this. However, be sure to ask him if he prefers briefs or boxers. Or maybe you already know *ahem*
8 – Shirts Nothing looks more delicious than a man in a crisp dress shirt or a cool tee shirt to show the broad chest and screaming biceps. Yummy.
9 – Belts The rarer the leather, the better.
10 – Agbada Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Idoma … Nigerian men always look great in Agbadas, no matter the tribe.
If you cannot afford any of the items listed above, it’s absolutely ok to stay indoor, prepare a really good home cooked meal, light some scented candles, laugh over a bottle of Campari and have fun the best way you know how. *wink*
It’s fair to say belly fat can be stubborn and difficult to lose. This isn’t very convenient for most people because it has a way of interfering with their fashion choices.
These are 6 ways about how to lose belly fat that can help make your attempt to lose your belly fat easier and more successful.
You Need The Weight To Come Off
It’s popular for those peddling belly fat loss tips to emphasize the importance of repeated crunches, reverse crunches, planks, bicycle crunches and ab rollers. Their belief is that to lose belly fat you should work on your stomach muscles more, and honestly one can’t deny that their belief seems pretty logical. But the truth is, all those exercises are going to do is tone the muscles under your belly fat without actually helping you lose it. Think of it this way, these exercises can make your flabby belly firmer but are not likely to reduce its size.
High intensity interval training (vigorous exercises) at least once or twice a week, alongside core exercises, will help you lose fat all over your body which will better help you lose belly fat and get that trim belly you desire. There’s no way to get fat to disappear from only your belly through exercise.
Eat Healthier
Eating healthily involves paying attention to what you eat, when you eat what you eat and how much of what you eat is appropriate. To lose belly fat, you should make peace with the fact that you have to change your eating habits. You aren’t just changing your eating habits for the period you are trying to lose your belly fat, you are changing it for the long haul. This is to ensure that even after the belly fat is gone, it wouldn’t return.
You should watch your portions, avoid junk foods as much as you can (with very occasional indulgences so you don’t lose control), eat more of foods rich in whole grains, eat more vegetables and fruits, eat nuts, seeds, beans, low-fat dairy and lean proteins like poultry, eggs and fish. Be smart about the foods you choose to eat and limit your intake.
Be Physically Active
For some people, simply being more physically active and moving around can help shed weight and trim their bellies without much exercise. Being active is one of the best ways to speed up your belly fat loss, especially if you are able to combine it with exercises.
Try walking around more, move about more at work. Walk instead of taking a bus or bike to your destination if it’s a walkable distance. Go for walks with friends or on your own. Join a dance group if you’re into dance, or register for a training or activity that gets you moving.
The bottom line is you should increase your functional movements and become more physically active to help you trim your belly fat more easily. If you do this right, you can even alleviate those after-exercise pains and cramps. You can also improve your cardiorespiratory and muscular fitness, and promote good digestion and regular bowel movements by being physically active.
Get Enough Sleep
Studies have shown that people who don’t get enough sleep tend to gain more weight, which includes belly fat. This is because sleep deprivation increases the levels of the stress hormone ‘cortisol’ in your body which increases your appetite. Unfortunately, when this happens you won’t exactly be hungry for cabbages and spinach. You should thus try to get enough sleep to avoid eating to stay awake or keep yourself active.
Drink More Water
Drink water before meals to help you eat less because most times you aren’t really that hungry, you’re just thirsty. So when you drink some water before your meal, you tend to eat less.
Also you tend to shed weight and lose some of your belly fat when you drink water instead of other beverages that are high in calories and sugar. Learn to replace those drinks with water instead.
For the amount of water you should drink in a day, there’s really no specific amount. Never mind those that advise you to take 8 glasses a day. The amount of water to take depends more on the individual and what your body is comfortable with. Drinking too much water can lead to water toxicity which is bad for your body. For example those who sweat a lot or exercise regularly may need more water than those who don’t. We also get water from many foods and beverages like fruits, tea etc.
In addition, learn to drink water when you are thirsty and drink enough to quench your thirst.
Drink Green Tea
This tea is known to be very good for body, with some referring to it as an ‘exceptionally healthy beverage’.
Green tea contains caffeine and the antioxidant epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) which, from studies, appear to boost metabolism. Some studies suggest EGCG which is catechin may be effective for losing belly fat, and the effect is strengthened when its (green tea) consumption is combined with exercise.
Nevertheless, some studies have also shown that green tea has no effect on the loss of the belly fat. However, it is eventually a very healthy swap for sugary drinks. Consequently, it will lower your sugar and calorie intake and in the end help you shed weight and lose belly fat, especially when you combine it with increased physical activity and exercise. Only be sure not to pack sugar or honey into your cup of green tea.
Almost everyone is using a smartphone in Nigeria. What many of these smartphone users don’t know is whether their phones are being tapped or not. If you don’t know, there are a number of reasons your phone can be tracked. One reason is when you are in a relationship where there is a clear absence of trust. Then your partner may result to tapping or bugging your phone. Besides that, a government agency may bug your phone just to listen to your conversation. In this case, it is for security reasons. Whatever the case may be, it is key to know if your smartphone has been bugged.
Your phone takes time to shut down
If your phone takes forever to shut down, it may be a pointer that your phone has been compromised. You will notice that when your phone eventually goes off, the backlight will still be on. This may likely means that your phone is in control of whoever has bugged it. So, whether you switch off or not, it will be difficult get rid of them.
Increased data usage
It will definitely be difficult for a smartphone without internet connection to be tapped. You may surf your phone every second daily but you already know that you cannot exhaust your data at a go. Thankfully most phones will alert you if you are using too much data. But if the data traffic is unusually high, and your phone keeps alerting you, you should be concerned.
You find apps you didn’t download
There are thousands of useful apps that you can download in either the Google Playstore or Apple’s store. These are largely safe. In other circumstances, you may find an app you didn’t download which finds its way to your phone. It is one of the coy ways to bug your phone. You try as much as possible not to open this app.
Low battery life
A battery is the heart of any of phone. A phone cannot function without a battery. If your battery runs out not long after charging it or it is very hot, it may be a sign that something is amidst. You should take note of this because the process of tapping your phone can easily drain your battery.
You receive unusual text messages
You may receive a random text message from an unfamiliar source and many of us tend to ignore it. These messages which you may ignore, arguably, means that someone is monitoring (or about to start) your messages or phone. You should delete the message immediately you notice it.
